That original concept has grown into one of Home Origins’ best selling furniture collections, with Rosen now spanning dining and living furniture across two distinctive finishes.

A Collection Built on Balance

Initial ideas explored darker surfaces, angular A frame legs and exposed metal bracing. The contrast between the tabletop, timber frame and metal details gave these early designs a stronger industrial character.
As the collection developed, some of those elements were reconsidered while others became fundamental to the finished design.
The A frame structure remained, providing the strong foundation that still defines Rosen today. The barrel shaped top was also retained, introducing the curved element that would eventually influence furniture throughout the wider collection.

From Early Concept to Rosen
As the design continued to evolve, the material direction began to change too.
The stronger industrial influence of the earliest concepts gradually gave way to a more tactile, oak focused design. This allowed the natural grain and texture of the timber to become a much bigger part of the finished furniture.
Curved elements also became more prominent. They can be seen not only in the dining table tops, but across cabinet furniture and seating too, creating a consistent visual connection between different pieces.
The dining chairs are a good example. Their curved backs introduce a softer, mid century inspired form that contrasts with the stronger lines of the dining tables, helping to bring the whole dining setting together.
What began as an exploration of contrasting shapes gradually became the design language that defines Rosen today.
